What is SEO Campaigner?
SEO Campaigner is an all-in-one desktop application for managing SEO campaigns on WordPress sites. It combines keyword research, rank tracking, A/B testing, competitor analysis, and site auditing in a single native application. It comes with a companion WordPress plugin (CAB A/B Testing) that integrates directly with your site for content experiments and data syncing.
How is SEO Campaigner different from other SEO tools?
Three key differences set us apart. First, SEO Campaigner is a desktop application — not a browser-based SaaS tool — which means faster performance and your data stays on your machine. Second, it is built specifically for WordPress with deep plugin integration, so you can run A/B tests and manage SEO directly within your WordPress ecosystem. Third, it is an all-in-one platform, so you do not need to pay for separate keyword research, rank tracking, and competitor analysis tools.
What platforms does SEO Campaigner support?
Currently, the desktop app is available for Windows 10 and later (64-bit). macOS support is in active development and expected in late Q2 2026. Linux support is planned for Q3 2026. The WordPress plugin works on any WordPress installation version 6.0 or later with PHP 7.4+. See our roadmap for platform updates.
Is my data private?
Yes. SEO Campaigner processes your SEO data locally on your computer. Your keyword research, competitor lists, campaign strategies, and A/B test configurations are stored on your machine — not on our servers. The only data transmitted to our servers is license validation information (your license key and site URL). See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Purchasing and Licensing
How much does SEO Campaigner cost?
SEO Campaigner is currently in public beta and available for free. During the beta period, all features are fully unlocked. After the beta period ends, we will introduce paid license tiers. What is included in my purchase?
Your purchase includes the SEO Campaigner desktop application (Windows installer), the CAB A/B Testing WordPress plugin, a license key for activation, one year of software updates and new features, email support, and access to all documentation and resources.
How many sites can I use SEO Campaigner on?
The number of sites depends on your license tier. Single licenses cover one WordPress site, 3-Site licenses cover up to three sites, and 5-Site licenses cover up to five sites. Each site requires one activation slot for the WordPress plugin. The desktop app itself can be installed on one computer per license. You can manage activations from your account dashboard.
Do you offer a free trial?
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee instead of a free trial. This lets you use the full product with all features unlocked. If you are not satisfied for any reason within 30 days, you can request a full refund — no questions asked. See our refund policy for details.
What happens when my license expires?
When your annual license expires, you will no longer receive software updates or new features. The desktop app will continue to work with the last version you installed, and your existing data will be preserved. However, features that require server communication (rank tracking, keyword research data) may stop working. You can renew your license at any time from your account dashboard to restore full functionality.
Can I transfer my license to another computer?
Yes. Go to Settings > License in the desktop app and click “Deactivate” on the old computer. Then activate on your new computer using the same license key. If you no longer have access to the old machine, contact support@seocampaigner.com and we will reset your activation.
Installation and Setup
Why does Windows show a SmartScreen warning when I install?
Windows SmartScreen displays this warning for any new application that does not yet have an Extended Validation (EV) code signing certificate. This is standard behavior and does not mean the software is unsafe. To proceed, click “More info” on the warning dialog, then click “Run anyway.” We are in the process of obtaining an EV certificate, which will eliminate this warning entirely.
How do I find my license key?
Your license key is available in three places: in the order confirmation email sent immediately after purchase, on your My Account > License Keys page on our website, and in the order details on your My Account > Orders page.
The desktop app cannot connect to my WordPress site. What should I do?
First, make sure your site uses HTTPS — HTTP connections are not supported for security reasons. Second, verify the CAB A/B Testing plugin is installed, activated, and has a valid license key entered in the plugin settings. Third, check that your WordPress REST API is accessible by visiting https://yoursite.com/wp-json/ in a browser — you should see a JSON response. If you see an error, a security plugin or server firewall may be blocking API access. Common culprits include Wordfence, Sucuri, and server-level ModSecurity rules. Add an exception for the wp-json endpoint if needed.
Does the plugin work with page caching?
The plugin is compatible with most caching solutions, but A/B tests require that test pages are excluded from full-page caching. If you use WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache, LiteSpeed Cache, or a similar caching plugin, add the URLs of pages running experiments to the cache exclusion list. The REST API endpoints used for syncing with the desktop app are not affected by page caching.
Features and Usage
How accurate is the keyword research data?
SEO Campaigner provides keyword data estimates based on aggregated search data sources. Search volume figures are monthly estimates with reasonable accuracy for relative comparison between keywords. Keyword difficulty scores are calculated based on the authority and content quality of currently ranking pages. As with all SEO tools, these are estimates to guide your strategy — not exact figures.
How often does rank tracking update?
Rank tracking data refreshes once per day automatically when the desktop app is running and connected to the internet. You can also trigger a manual refresh from the Rankings dashboard. Historical data is stored locally, so you build up a complete picture of your ranking trends over time.
Can I run multiple A/B tests at the same time?
Yes, you can run multiple experiments simultaneously, but we recommend testing only one element per page at a time for clean attribution. Running two tests on the same page can create interaction effects that make it difficult to determine which change drove the result. Testing different elements on different pages simultaneously is perfectly fine.
How long should I run an A/B test?
We recommend running tests for a minimum of 2-4 weeks to account for weekly traffic fluctuations (weekday vs. weekend patterns). The experiment dashboard shows a statistical significance indicator — wait until it reaches at least 95% confidence before declaring a winner. For low-traffic pages, tests may need to run longer to accumulate enough data.
Does SEO Campaigner work with WooCommerce sites?
Yes. SEO Campaigner works with any WordPress site, including WooCommerce stores. You can track product page rankings, run A/B tests on product titles and descriptions, audit your store for technical SEO issues, and monitor competitor e-commerce sites. The plugin is fully compatible with WooCommerce’s page structure and custom post types.

How do I get support?
Email us at support@seocampaigner.com with your license key and a detailed description of your issue. Our support team responds within 24 hours on business days (Monday-Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM EST). For the fastest resolution, include your application version (Settings > About), operating system, WordPress version, and any screenshots or error messages.
How do I request a refund?
Email support@seocampaigner.com with your order number and the reason for your refund request within 30 days of purchase. We process refunds within 3-5 business days to your original payment method. After a refund, your license key is deactivated and software features that require a valid license will stop working. See our refund policy for complete details.
How do I report a bug?
Send a detailed bug report to support@seocampaigner.com. Include the steps to reproduce the issue, what you expected to happen versus what actually happened, your system information (OS, WordPress version, plugin version, app version), and any screenshots or error messages. We take every bug report seriously and prioritize critical issues for the next release.
Can I suggest a feature?
Absolutely. Send feature requests to feedback@seocampaigner.com. Every suggestion is reviewed by our product team. Many features on our public roadmap came directly from user feedback. We cannot guarantee every suggestion will be implemented, but we carefully consider each one and prioritize based on demand and strategic fit.
